In June 29 2023, Amb James Momoh, a philanthropist, envisioned GISA Care and Empowerment Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) as a beacon of compassion and progress which was established by the Global Impact Summit and Awards (GISA).
Born out of a desire to transform lives and uplift communities, our foundation is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the less privileged in the society.
GISA Care and Empowerment Foundation was conceived through the Global Impact Summit and Awards, an event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating individuals, organizations and driving positive change worldwide.
The proceeds from this esteemed event will serve as the foundation’s lifeblood, for fueling its vision to create a haven of hope and opportunity, called “THE GISA REFUGE CITY(GRC).”
“GISA REFUGE CITY (GRC)” embodies our dream of a world where dreams are attainable, education is accessible, healthcare is a right and skills are nurtured. This visionary project aims to establish a city that provides holistic support to orphans, widows, and the less privileged.
The city will encompass a school, clinic, skill acquisition centre and essential amenities, fostering an environment of care, growth, and empowerment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to use the proceeds from the Global Impact Summit and Awards to build GISA REFUGE CITY(GRC), a hub of empowerment and care. We strive to provide quality education, healthcare services, skill development, and essential amenities to orphans, widows, and the less privileged, ensuring they build better lives for themselves and their communities.
